Because we understand how important it is to communicate your health needs, the Rockbridge Area Health Center offers free interpretation services for patients and families who prefer to communicate in a language other than English.
To ensure clear communication between patients, providers, and staff, RAHC can connect patients to a certified medical interpreter using video technology to offer instant interpretation services in over 250 languages, including rare indigenous and sign languages.
Good communication helps to provide meaningful access to care so patients and their families can participate fully in their own healthcare and in the healthcare of their loved ones.
