The Goal for an Expanded Facility

To expand health, dental and behavioral health services to residents of the Rockbridge area, with special emphasis on the uninsured and underinsured.

RAHC broke ground on May 4, 2018 on a $6.6 million renovation that will more than double the size of the current facility.

The current one-story building, at 9,000 sq. feet, will grow an additional 13,000 sq. feet, spanning two floors.  Since the transition into a community health center in 2014, RAHC has continued to grow and enhance its services, which includes family primary medical care, women’s and prenatal care, pediatics, family dentistry, behavioral health and medication assistance. A larger RAHC facility will offer the opportunity to serve the increasing patient caseload that has ballooned by more than a third.  In 2017 RAHC treated more than 5,100 patients with close to 16,000 visits.
