RAHC is seeking a Director of Development to lead its newly created Foundation. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Director of Development serves as a key member of the executive management team and is strategically responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining fund raising initiatives that meet the present and future needs of the organization.
The Director of Development is responsible for overseeing the day to day administration of the organization’s annual development campaigns, grant writing and administration, special projects, campaigns and other fund-raising initiatives and its donor relations program. To ensure a strong base of ongoing philanthropic support, the individual will take a strategic approach towards the identification and cultivation of donors and work cooperatively with the ED, Board, and other volunteers to further a culture of philanthropy.
Minimum qualifications include: A minimum of 5-7 years of nonprofit experience, desirably in a healthcare setting; an undergraduate degree is required; a strategist, with extensive experience managing signature programs in fund raising; a proven record of fundraising success in personally soliciting annual and major gifts including capital campaign management experience; Success working collaboratively with Board of Directors; financial acumen in managing organizational or department budgets in healthcare or nonprofit settings; CFRE preferred.
