Laura Simpson

Laura Simpson, MSN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, providing full-spectrum psychiatric services for adults and is board-certified in both psychiatry and family practice.

She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from the University of Mary Washington, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master of Science in Nursing, and a post-masters in psychiatry from the University of Virginia.

Laura provides individualized and comprehensive mental health care and substance use treatment as part of a team of primary care and behavioral health clinicians. Supporting her patients on their self-care journey, she also works to empower each to take charge of their own health.

During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and exploring the Rockbridge area.
