Rockbridge Area Health Center seeks a full-time staff physician. The Staff Physician provides patient-centered health care within a community-based setting and strives to improve general health and well-being through prevention, education, and treatment. Activities involve direct patient care, physical assessment, diagnosis and treatment, provision of preventive care, referral for specialty services as needed, and follow-up. Candidates must be board certified, or board eligible, licensed independent practitioner who devotes his/her professional services to the benefit of Rockbridge Area Health Center. RAHC provides integrated medical, dental and behavioral health care services in a new and modern facility.

HR Generalist

The Human Resources Generalist role performs HR related duties at the professional level while supporting more than one functional group. The Generalist will carry out responsibilities in the following functional areas: talent acquisition; onboarding and orientation, employee relations consultation; policy interpretation and application, performance and compensation management consultation; employee development initiatives and training; along with contributing to company performance by providing strategic consulting on people and organization development strategies in support of the business objectives.

You should have:

  • Proven strong foundation and knowledge of principles & practice of HR including employment law & compliance requirements.
  • Proven client management and business literacy skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective verbal and written communications skills.
  • Proven knowledge of recruiting components to include sourcing; qualifying; networking; assessing; wage/salary trends.
  • Proven ability to effectively coach employees and management through complex and difficult issues.
  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment.
  • Ability to set high personal goals and work independently. – Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Proven acuity in MS office suite, internet and data-base management.

Minimum qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 3 years’ experience as HR generalist; PHR or SPHR preferred.

Executive Assistant

RAHC seeks a full-time executive assistant to provide administrative support and assistance to executive management.

Responsibilities include executive office administration, meeting and event support; administrative support for fundraising and development, and human resources support. The successful candidate will have an associate degree (AA), or bachelor’s degree (BA) in office management, business administration, or a human resource related field; at least two years’ experience in administrative support or executive assistance; be able to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion at all times; must possess strong computer skills and ability to readily learn new software programs; and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
